Celebrating Excellence: SBCA's 2025 Construction Awards
The Santa Barbara Contractors Association (SBCA) is excited to announce the upcoming 2025 Construction Awards, which will be held on Friday, February 6th, 2024. This event is dedicated to recognizing the outstanding contributions of contractors and subcontractors to our local construction industry. These awards celebrate those who go above and beyond traditional practices, showcasing innovation, craftsmanship, and environmental stewardship in every project they complete.

New Residential Construction up to $1.5 Million

These categories highlight a wide range of projects, from high-end residential developments to innovative commercial builds, ensuring all aspects of construction are celebrated.
How Winners Are Selected
To ensure fairness and objectivity, all submissions are anonymous before being reviewed by a panel of industry experts. Judges will evaluate projects based on four key criteria:
Craftsmanship – Does the project exhibit exceptional attention to detail and precision?
Creative Problem-Solving – How did the contractor overcome site challenges, budget constraints, or material limitations?
Inspiration – Does the project introduce innovative construction techniques that inspire future builds?
Environmental Sensitivity – Were sustainable practices implemented, and how did the contractor minimize environmental impact?
Each submission will be scored on a scale of 1 to 5 in these areas, with the highest-scoring project in each category taking home the coveted award.

Beyond the trophy, winning an SBCA Construction Award offers significant recognition within the Santa Barbara Community.
