2025 CONSTRUCTION AWARDS

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

These awards recognize the outstanding contributions of contractors and subcontractors to the local construction industry, celebrating those who go beyond traditional practices. Exceptional construction not only builds durable structures but also creates a lasting impact, inspires communities, and enhances the quality of life.

The SBCA Construction Awards reflect the values and goals of our region’s construction professionals by addressing broader industry challenges through professional, unique, and innovative approaches. We understand that our members undertake diverse projects,  each with its own distinct identity and complexity. We value creativity, technical excellence, and the ability to deliver solutions that advance the construction field.

Submissions should strongly connect to innovative construction solutions,  environmental stewardship, and purposeful design. We honor projects that are well executed and effectively address the evolving needs of the industry.

To be considered, all entries must present their project, construction process, and execution using a combination of text, plans and/or drawings, photos, and other visual aids as specified in the submission guidelines. The Jury will evaluate each submission based on the criteria outlined in Section V of the guidelines.

In tied submissions, multiple awards of the same type may be granted within a category.  Please note that the Jury reserves the right to withhold an award in any category if deemed appropriate.

The Construction Awards Committee will ensure the anonymity of all project submissions. Please refer to SBCA's Conflict of Interest statement in the guidelines for additional information.

Upon registration and payment, the SBCA shall email entrants an entry ID (to ensure anonymity during the judging process) and a password with the instructions for uploading entries to the SBCA Dropbox.
